Scoop Jackson's column today
Scoop hits this nail on the head... I am so sick and tired of people lying about doing something UNTIL the evidence mounts against them, then they apologize and "come clean" and cry if they need to...
Its revolting!
That is why I have a modicum of respect for Jason Giambi and Andy Pettite... At least they admitted to their wrongdoing...
But sports are like life: it doesnt matter what the truth is, it matters what you can prove...
Sweet art

My favorite mixed media artist...
MANUmental performance!
Go Manu! Save some of that shooting for the playoffs!
Last night he had a career 12 assists! Now that's team basketball!
Keep it up!
Mucho suerte!
Zac Thomas with Dallas...
Zach Thomas, a Cowboy? Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the Cowboys' linebackers can use some experience at that position...
Zac can teach them a thing or two...
At Miami, it seemed like he was involved in almost every defensive tackle...
Yeah Cowboys!

Pink stuff
Sports news
Barry is a clutch 3 point shooter who plays excellent, hustle defense, especially during the playoffs...
He also happened to be one of my favorite Spurs (Manu is my favorite, of course! :) )
*The Miami Dolphins let go of Zac Thomas last week... Would like to see him wind up at a winning team this time around!
*OK, baseball is a sport I have never liked (unless my little brother was playing)
This is the way I see it now... Anyone who knowingly purchases a ticket to a game in which Andy Pettite is playing is, is essence, condoning his cheating...
Is there a reason he and others like him are still playing? If the American public is really going to show their disapproval for illegal substances in baseball, they would stop buying tickets...

College shootings
Since I am terrified of guns, option 2 wouldnt work for me, so maybe carrying some mace or pepper spray would work...
The bottom line is unless someone has a weapon, no one can stop a psycho determined to inflict pain and injury...
That is why the laws in Texas changed to allow someone to carry a concealed weapon, with proper certification...In the 1980's, this guy shot up a Lubys in Killeen... A woman was there eating with her parents... Her parents were shot and killed by this madman... The daughter argued that if she had been permitted to carry her gun, she could have stopped this guy...
Peace be with you at Northern Illinois...
God bless those who perished...

Great quote on Manu Ginobli
• He even turns in his TPS reports on time. Manu Ginobili did everything for the Spurs in last night's 93-88 win over the Raptors. Literally everything. He scored a season-high 34 points. He grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds. He dished 6 assists. He handed out Gatorade during timeouts. He gave Tim Duncan a foot rub at halftime (no happy ending, though). He referred Gregg Popovich to a really good dermatologist. He even advanced his paladin to level 60 in World of Warcraft. "He can do everything," Toronto's Carlos Delfino said. "He can split atoms, turn pure evil into delicious buttermilk pancakes...did you know he actually traveled back in time to help me pass Geometry? True story." Duncan added 22 points and 13 rebounds, but only because Manu let him.
This entry can be found at deadspin.com... It was so funny, I laughed out loud! Manu must have had a heck of a game! This is one of the times when I hate not subscribing to the nba packages on Directv. Maybe I can find some highlights somwhere...

Thom Filicia decorating contest
Thom from Queer Eye and Style Network's Dress my Nest is having a contest to redecorate your family room! Here are the details... I am going to go home and take some pictures of my boring family room!
Scam - football player
some idiot football player took his school, friends and community for a ride by lying to them about being recruited...
He claimed he was being recruited by two schools...When the schools didnt know who he was, an investigation into scouting impersonators ensued...
It was all a scam...
Can this idiot be expelled from school to teach him a lesson?

Grammy Awards - 50 years
Alicia Keyes performed twice! Morris Day and the Time sang with Rianna, who is so pretty!
They had this performance with Cirque de Soleil featuring The Beatles music
Then they had a gospel choir singing Let it Be, my second favorite Beatles song (Hey Jude is my favorite, and one of the best rock songs ever written in my opinion) Definitely made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!
They had a gospel segment featuring several artists and Aretha Franklin sang with them!
I wish I had the time to research gospel artists and songs, because I really want to listen to more Christian music, but today's Christian music doesnt move me like gospel does...
Amy Winehouse performed, and sorry, I just dont get it about what people see in her...Not to mention I know she has drug issues, and I have had it with all these celebrities doing drugs and going to rehab... I find it ironic that her hit song is called "rehab" which I know she has just been in....
Kanye West performed, but he didnt sing "Good Life, " which I absolutely love! He sang his song to his mother, and the "make me stronger" song...
But the hands down best performance of the night was Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban (YES, THEY SANG TOGETHER - IT WAS LIKE HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!) One day I am going to see those guys in concert!
Tina Turner and Beyonce performed together... they sang "big wheels keep on turning - rolling, rolling, rolling like a river!" One of these days I am going to dress up like Tina and sing that song...
I wish I could sing and be a rock star performer... I just want to experience what those guys and gals experience being up on stage like that... I know it has to be a thrill!
Anyways, I really enjoy music and listening to it...Just wish I had more time to jam at home and fill my mp3 player with cool music...

John McCain
No, he's not the second coming of Reagan, but he ISNT Hillary or Obama...
So all of you conservatives, like Ann Coulter, who say they wont vote for McCain but would vote for Hillary need to get over yourselves...
Yes, we have to vote on principle, but in my eyes, the most important principle this election cycle is making sure neo-socialists dont get into office... Isnt that a principle worth rallying around?
