Political correctness backfires...
They embraced Anita Hill, and her (unproven) story of feminist grievance,
and helped ride it to victory in the Year of the Woman; they promised a cabinet
that "looked like America" (though not quite as much so as George W. Bush's),
hectored opponents of affirmative action, and suggested impeachment was a device
thought up by southern conservatives to punish the Clintons for having black
friends. Now they find themselves unable to criticize a black man for what they
think are legitimate reasons, because they helped to teach people that criticism
is bias in disguise, and they can't complain that their words have been
misinterpreted, because the theory of hate speech maintains that the listener

Obama vs. Hillary, round one
Readers may have noticed that I have found myself
slipping. I no longer refer to Clinton's candidacy. I refer to the Clintons'
candidacy. This was always the case, of course. They have been professionally
joined at the hip for their entire careers. Their marriage, among other things,
is a power-move - for them both. But I never expected Bill to show his hand this
crudely and this unpleasantly so soon. I'll bet he didn't either. But that's how
close Obama has come.
At least now we know what this race is about: Obama
versus the Clintons. Both of them. Their dynasty. Their power. Their methods.

Clinton and Obama went after each other... I am glad Obama is not taking her crap anymore - I am starting to have more respect for him... At one point, Hillary was getting irritated that Obama kept talking about Bill and all the factual errors he was putting out about Obama's record... So Hillary said, "He's not here, I am"...Which Obama responded to by saying: "Sometimes its hard to tell who I am running against!"
Obviously Mr. Sullivan feels the same way. And you think Bill wont be involved in the affairs of a Hillary White House? Are you kidding?

Oprah criticized
This article is about fans of Oprah Winfrey turning on her for her endorsement of Barack Obama, rather than Hillary. Huh, I didnt know that those were her only two choices?
Oh, but I keep forgetting - people of color arent supposed to vote for Republicans or Libertarians... We people of color should just keep towing the Democratic line because thats what we are expected to do...
Anyways, I think Oprah can endorse anyone she darn well pleases... All of you people who feel she should have endorsed Hillary just because she is a woman obviously are trying to take us back to the 1970's and beyond...
Didnt the civil rights movement and women's liberation movement say that people should be looked at based on what their platforms are, what they stand for, their records, etc NOT for the color of their skin or whether they have boobs or not?
