These blogs rule!

If you havent visited decorating blogs in the past, here are the absolute ones you MUST read on a daily basis:

decor8.blogspot.com
designspongeonline.com
designformankind.com
poppytalk.blogspot.com

There are so many more I enjoy, but these are my "go-to" for innovation, product differentiation, the business side of art/decoration, and some awesome eye candy!

ing for her to be "discovered" by an art conoisseur!
I thought the picture with the jars in the aquarium was a cute idea. I am definitely going to have shelves like the one in the pictured kitchen where I can display all kinds of goodies!

The season hasnt even started

The day the Rays finally became a real MLB franchise - Big League Stew - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

Another reason why I HATE BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its the freakin preseason and we have these idiots getting into fights...

I am sure this is what they were saying to themselves:

"I didnt like the way Duncan slid into my teammate. He was being mean :(
I am going to go out there and show him, that meanie!!!!!!!"

Please, can we just all grow up??????????????????

Attention Project Runway fans

For all you Project Runway/winner Christian Soriano fans...
I got a good laugh from this!

No more liberalism

I am trying to avoid politics on this blog anymore, but this essay summarizes many of the reasons that I am no longer a liberal. I just couldnt think like that anymore.

I feel like he was speaking for me...

Please watch this...

http://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=ithct48cqw

I found this man to be truly courageous and I am sorry he is dying...
But we should all live life today like its our last...
That is the way I choose to live my life...

As Helen Keller said, (one of my favorite quotes by the way)
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing

My future kitchen

I am absolutely loving this kitchen and the layout of the kitchen with the den. This is what I want in my next home... I can keep an eye on my daughter while she watches TV, work on her homework, play while still conversing with my husband or guests...That bar is awesome, isnt it?

Quote for my day

There's just no excuse for bad housekeeping. Cleanliness is something that doesnt cost anything. It's about self-respect.
Charlotte Moss

I have to agree with this quote. You have to want to live in a tidy and clean environment because you are worth it... We are all worth coming home to peace and serenity in an organized home.

You have to be kidding me...Someone got research money to come up with this idiotic conclusion?
This is the problem with academia...

Give me a freakin break...

Cool E-zine

I'm so excited to release the second [and FREE!] issue of Inspiration: Design for Mankind's monthly e-zine. [If you missed the first issue, click here to view/download!] I've been working nonstop for the past month to bring you another dose of inspiration and it is my hope that you find this issue equally (if not more so!) motivating in your quest to accomplish each and every one of your goals. Whether you're a designer, doctor, stay-at-home mom or trash collector, I think we can all use a bit of inspiration in our daily lives.Hats off to you, readers--- this one's for you.Click here to download the second issue of Inspiration, only at Design for Mankind.

I think designformankind.blogspot.com is my new favorite decorating blog because of these monthly e-zines she is putting out... I strongly suggest you download both if you want to see some awesome inspiration boards... I am glad I am not the only one who spends too much money on magazines, who covets them like a newborn baby, and who cuts many images out to hang up or to hold on to for some day...

This blogger also invites artists to journal a "day in the life of.."

We see how other people spend their day, including their family lives...

Here is a cover of the last e-zine...
