Hillary revealed
Hillary's willingness to tolerate Bill's compulsive philandering is a function of her general contempt for men. She distrusts them and feels morally superior...
But Hillary herself, with her thin, spotty record, tangled psychological baggage, and maundering blowhard of a husband, is also a mighty big roll of the dice. She is a brittle, relentless manipulator with few stable core values who shuffles through useful personalities like a card shark ("Cue the tears!"). Forget all her little gold crosses: Hillary's real god is political expediency. Do Americans truly want this hard-bitten Machiavellian back in the White House?http://www.salon.com/opinion/paglia/2008/01/10/hillary/index.html
the above quote, written by one of my favorite feminist writers, Camille Paglia...
I am glad I am not the only feminist who dislikes Hillary...

New Hampshire results
I find it rather ironic that things shifted for Hillary after her tearful words a couple of days ago...
I guess she IS playing the gender card after all...
What will Gloria Steinem say about that one?
As for McCain, I think the reason he got a bump was because of the emphasis on foreign policy brought about by Bhutto's assassination.
Let's remember that McCain tried to get an immigration reform bill passed through, that was supported by President Bush, that failed...
If illegal immigration and the nauseating, repeated shouts against amnesty were a top priority for the people of New Hampshire, then McCain wouldnt have won.
Let's also remember McCain voted against the President's tax cuts, another supposed stalwart of the conservative platform.
All I can ascertain from his victory is that people voted for him because of his war experience, senate experience and his knowledge of foreign policy. History has shown that the people of the United States like electing war heroes: George Washington, Andrew Jackson, William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Dwight Eisenhower...
