I am so excited that the NFL began last night...
The game was a little boring...Redskins looked terrible!
But I cant wait to watch Tony Romolicious and the Cowboys kick some butt Sunday against the Browns!
Will we see more crying by T.O. this season?
Will Jerry Jones come down to the sidelines in the 3rd quarter?
Will Jessica Simpson be shown at every game?
I anticipate a great season!
Go Cowboys!

Zac Thomas with Dallas...
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3260529
Zach Thomas, a Cowboy? Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the Cowboys' linebackers can use some experience at that position...
Zac can teach them a thing or two...
At Miami, it seemed like he was involved in almost every defensive tackle...
Yeah Cowboys!

Garrett stays! What a relief!
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3200822
Not only am I thrilled that Jason Garrett is staying on as offensive coordiantor, and now assistant head coach, he scored some brownie points with me yesterday at his press conference.
He mentioned his wife as part of the decision to stay in Dallas!
Here is the quote:
It sounds like he and his wife have a true partnership, and that she wants him to win and be successful in Dallas, just as much as any of us do...
I feel the same way about my husband. He involves me in all aspects of his job and I believe we are true partners in our marriage.

"We made great strides this year," Garrett said. "We didn't achieve all of our goals, but we're heading in the right direction. When [wife] Brill and I looked at each other we said, 'Boy, we have a great chance here in Dallas.' "

In response to nataliegracie
http://community.foxsports.com/blogs/nataliegracie
With all due respect natalie, we Cowboys fans are NOT blaming Jessica for the loss...
We understand that our team blew it!
Our offensive line let a tired, beat-up defense plow through them and then chase, and often sack Romo. Our defense let the Eli Manning-led offense score a touchdown in 47 seconds at the end of the first half...Sorry, I am not buying the "second coming of Peyton" with respect to Eli...
I find it ironic that the offensive lines coach, Sparano, and the offensive coordinator, Garrett, are both leaving Dallas... Maybe they were too distracted thinking of their new teams to give a crap about how the game would go... Garrett changed the game plan in the second half: no more Barber.
So while there may be some tongue-in-cheek comments about Jessica, we know the truth...
Finally, I call this the "Curse of Dallas." First the Dallas Mavericks suffer the worst loss in NBA playoff history, now the Cowboys stink it up.
So obviously the sports gods are not looking down favorable upon Big D.

Cowboys lost it all by themselves
OK, I dont blame Romo and his partying in Mexico for this debacle tonight...
I am so upset that they blew the game I could scream!
1. Poor tackling by our defense led to the Giants first touchdown by Toomer.
2. This is the one I will allude to that really caused us the loss: our defense letting a nontalent Eli Manning-led offense score the last 47 seconds before the first half. Now that was ridiculous!
3. It is obvious that the blame is to go around for this loss, but our defense was a joke today...
4. All of the blasted penalties... How many false starts were there today?
5. Crayton dropping that pass in the third quarter really hurt.
6. The offensive line really stunk in the second half. I havent seen Romo on his butt that many times all season! When you start getting chased, tackled, and knocked down, it starts affecting your concentration, timing and completion percentages.
7. Our guys blew the game all by themselves...
8. Now lets hope Brett Favre and the Packers steamroll their butts next weekend!
AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Time to worry Cowboys fans
What a sorry showing yesterday!
After a lackluster December, I would say we all have something to worry about come two weeks from now...
I know it was rainy and wet, but the Redskins didnt seem to have any problems moving the ball...
Not only was the offense AWOL, but I saw some things in the secondary that included Reeves and Watkins I didnt like...
I appreciated hearing Cris Collinsworth say Saturday night after the Patriots win that he believes Dallas and New England will meet in the SuperBowl, but after yesterday, I really am wondering...
Lets hope all of our injured players return in two weeks...

More Cowboy woes
I have just learned that my favorite Cowboy will be unavailable Saturday against Carolina: Roy Williams. He has been suspended for a horse-collar violation (again)...
Oh Roy, oh Roy, where art thou Roy?????????? What was thy thinking?????????
So how will that affect the Cowboys this weekend? At least we might have Gurode and Canty back...Both are said to be walking around OK...
Romolicious will have to play with a contusion on his hand...
Lets hope they wake up and smell the playoff coffee this week and understand the repercussions of playing a playoff game in Green Bay in January!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
