As if it wasnt enough to have some history illiterate bimbo make a "lynching" reference when talking about Tiger Woods on the Golf Channel, Golfweek magazine does something even worse: they put a noose on its cover to discuss the bimbo's comments...
What is it with people in this country who obviously dont know their history and are so racially insensitive to words and images?
How many non-white Golfweek decision-makers were in the room the day they decided that it would be a "good" idea to run a noose on the cover of a golf magazine, for God's sakes?
I encourage all of you out there reading this to show your disapproval and disgust with this:
BOYCOTT THIS MAGAZINE!!!!!!!!!!!! Never purchase another Golfweek magazine again!
But what is the broader issue here? Obviously golf still struggles with minorities among its ranks...
I thought this was 2008, not 1958...
